About

About ExoLactate

An independent scientific portal dedicated to exogenous lactate, lactate metabolism and its emerging role in performance nutrition.

What this portal is

ExoLactate is a scientific and editorial portal — a knowledge hub, not a shop. Its purpose is to document, in an accessible but rigorous way, the science of exogenous lactate and lactate metabolism, and to make the underlying research easy to find and understand.

Who is behind it

The portal is curated by an editorial and scientific team, with contributions from researchers and practitioners in sports physiology and nutrition. Profiles of named contributors — such as Aitor Viribay — set out their roles and areas of expertise. [Editable placeholder — expand with the full team as appropriate.]

Scientific objective

Our objective is to build a credible, well-referenced knowledge base on exogenous lactate: to explain the science prudently, to index the relevant literature, and to support new research through participation and collaboration. We favour measured language — "may support", "emerging evidence", "requires further research" — over absolute claims.

Relationship with FLF

ExoLactate is an exogenous lactate fuel platform. FLF translates this science into field-ready performance nutrition products, beginning with Gel ExoLactate.

ExoLactate focuses on the science and the ingredient; FLF handles the commercial product application. We keep the two clearly separated so that the portal can remain a scientific resource rather than a sales channel.

Editorial independence & transparency

Content is produced for scientific and educational purposes. We aim to represent the evidence honestly, including its limitations, and to disclose the relationship with FLF transparently. We do not make medical claims and we avoid guarantees of performance.

Content on ExoLactate.com is intended for scientific and educational purposes. It does not replace medical advice or individualized sports nutrition guidance.
